Default sound drivers

ok i know this isn't a GW problem but my PC has lost all its sound after i had the hard disk fix, i know its not the speakers as they work on other PC's, but i don't have any drivers for my computer. so im either stuck with out sound or is there is site where i can download drivers from. i have an evesham PC and i have tried there web site and tried technical response but no luck so far. so do any of you know any sites with drivers on? or if i buy a sound card would installing that bring my speakers back because if im correct they come with drivers?

all help is appreciated.

You should be able to get drivers for your onboard sound stuff from your motherboard's website.

I know this may sound strange, but have you checked under START > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control to see if Windows has automatically muted the master volume?

Pick the one that is/or most resembles what you own.
